How to Add a Google Sheet to Your Screens
The Google Sheets media app puts a live Google Sheets tab on your displays, updating automatically whenever the sheet changes. It is ideal for directories, menus, price lists, and dashboards that need to stay current without re-uploading. This guide walks you through adding Google Sheets in Display NOW Manager, from connecting your spreadsheet to saving it to a playlist.
Step 1. Display NOW Manager > Media

- From the left sidebar, open Media.
Step 2. Media > Add New > Add Media

-
On the Media page, open the + Add New tab to open the Media App Store.
Step 3. Media App Store > Google Sheets

-
Locate the Google Sheets app (Display a live Google Sheets tab on your screens with zoom control). Click Add New to open the setup panel.
Step 4. Name the media

-
The Media name field is pre-filled (for example, Google Sheets - 1).
-
Edit it to something you'll recognize later, especially if you plan to add more than one sheet.
Step 5. Connect and select your spreadsheet

- Click Select Spreadsheet to open the Sign in with Google window.

- On the sign-in screen, confirm the correct Google account and click Continue.

-
On the permissions screen, review the access and click Allow.

-
Once linked, the form shows the connected account under Signed in as and the file under Spreadsheet, and the Preview panel loads a live view of your sheet.
- In the Select a file window, choose your spreadsheet (for example, Marketing Plan) and click Select.
Note: Share the sheet with "Anyone with the link can view" so it can display on your screens. Restricted sheets won't load.
Step 6. Set the page change duration

-
Use the Page Change Duration (seconds) slider, or type a value in the box beside it, to control how long each page of the sheet stays on screen before advancing. The default is 10 seconds.
Step 7. Choose how it plays

-
Under Streaming type, select Playlist so the Google sheet cycles alongside the other content in your playlist where you add it. (Broadcast pushes the sheet out as a broadcast instead.)

-
In the playlist panel, search for and check the playlist you want (for example, sheet). Then click Add to Media.
The selected playlist appears under Streaming type where you can preview, edit, or remove it, or click Add More to include others.
Step 8. Confirm visibility and save

Group and Folder are optional. Assign them if you organize your media that way. Click Save. The Google Sheets media is now in your library, ready to be shown on your screen.
Why It Matters?
A live Google Sheet turns any screen into a self-updating display for directories, menus, price lists, and dashboards. Set it up once, and every edit to the sheet flows to your screens automatically, with no re-uploading.
