Schedule Content with Display NOW

You can now schedule content within your playlists for specific dates and times. The Playlist Scheduling feature lets you assign multiple media items to play at different times throughout the day. Once a scheduled time period ends, the content automatically goes offline and stops displaying on your screen, giving you full control over when each item appears.

Step 1: Navigate to Display NOW Manager > Playlists

  • Select the playlist containing the content you wish to schedule, then open it by clicking "Edit" under Actions. 

Step 2: Click the edit icon next to the media item you want to schedule.


Step 3: Enable the "Schedule" toggle


Step 4: Set the Start and End times then click update

  • You can also choose whether you want the content to be scheduled indefinitely "Daily" or daily within a certain Date Range.

  • When you select "Date Range," your content will appear on screen only during the dates and times you specify. After the scheduled period ends, the content will automatically be removed from active display—you do not need to manually delete it from your playlist.

  • For example, you can schedule content to display daily from November 20th, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, continuing each day until November 30th. After this end date, the content will automatically stop appearing on your displays.


Step 5: Click on the Check Mark, then Update

  • Click the check mark to confirm your scheduling settings, then select Update to save your changes.


Congratulations! Your content is now scheduled in your playlist. You can add and schedule multiple media items as needed. Scheduled content will be clearly marked as "scheduled" within your playlist for easy reference.
