We're working hard to deliver new features and integrations. Customers play a big part in prioritizing what we work on next. If you have an idea or feedback, please feel free to reach out. We prioritize roadmap items partially based on frequency of requests.

Onboarding

We've introduced a new onboarding experience starts you off with a sample playlist that you can customize. After you've activated a screen, we present some tips to show you the key things Display NOW can do for you.

Media App Store Enhancements

Apps are getting a full app store listing upgrade to help communicate the various things you can do with the apps. Each app listing now has up to 6 images and two videos. We're excited to build out our app store to bring you new and exciting apps and integrations.

Clock of all Trades (aka Clock Pro)

Introducing a clock that does far more than just tell the time. We've introduced 10 new clock faces. You can now include weather, weather alerts, show messages, count down to an event, post workouts of the day (WOD), and much more. In the near future, we'll be streamlining setup options with preconfigured setups to help make setup easier based on your industry.

Weather Updates

Weather has a bold new look with backgrounds and animations that correlate with conditions outside. Humidity, air quality, UV index, wind and chance of rain all have their own home with scales to show you severity or chance. Forecast has a whole new look, now with the weekend always in view.

Other
  • Web Player on Samsung TVs used to ask for a new activation code with every power cycle. We now use the device serial number to help re-connect the web player without intervention.
  • When you create an account, we now show real-time password strength requirements to help you create a strong password
  • Save from Canva now shows in the Activity Log
  • Our plans and checkout process got a big upgrade. You can now clearly see a summary of what comes with each plan and scroll down for more details. We also make it easier to see the cost of your desired setup.
  • Manager web app has been optimized on mobile devices. Some pages and views were not optimal on smaller devices and phones.

AI-Powered Media Generation

We built our new generative AI feature because we saw a recurring challenge across all of our customers: keeping screens fresh, engaging, and relevant takes a massive amount of time and resources. Its available in the trial welcome screen and on your dashboard when in "create mode".

We integrated highly efficient, purpose-built AI to serve as an on-demand design assistant for businesses that need to communicate quickly and effectively.

Zero Idle Waste: We know AI compute can be resource-heavy, so we intentionally built this feature using a highly efficient serverless infrastructure. This means our system only consumes power for the exact seconds it takes to generate your media, completely eliminating the wasted energy of idle, constantly-running servers.

Do More with Less Compute: We utilize reasoning-guided models that understand your prompts better the first time. This reduces the need for endless, energy-wasting regenerations.

Your media keeps its file name

Uploaded media now preserves its original file name and shows it in the grid, so it's easy to tell your files apart at a glance — no more guessing which is which.

Videos play their full length in playlists

We fixed an issue where a video added to a playlist could default to a 10-second display time. Videos now play for their intended duration.

A redesigned dashboard (home screen)

A new home view that puts the most important things first: a live status of your screens, anything that needs your attention, and one-tap access to create.

Web Players stay paired after a power cycle

We fixed an issue where web player may ask to be re-paired after being powered off and on. Your player should now hold it's activation code in the TV / web browser's cache.

Player Updates in v123

Additional improved retry connectivity logic for those that have screens showing activation codes after already being activated, or a Disconnected message. This can happen when the connection between Player and the Manager is weak.

June 30th, 2026 - Manager v30 and App v121

New Media Apps

  • PowerBI (available with v121, awaiting app store approval) - available on our Pro and Business Edge Plans
  • Your Daily Loop -  Access a library of ready-to-play content. Trivia, brain fitness, conversation starters, inspiration, and more keep your screens fresh and engaging. Add to your playlist and content rotates automatically, so your screens stay active without the extra work. 

Manager Updates

  • Save from Canva, as a new Display NOW user is fixed. You can now create a new account while saving from Canva if you do not have one already. Previously the linkage was breaking if a user tried to create a new Display NOW account vs just login.
  • New welcome experience - a fresh dashboard greets you with pre-populated content so you can see how it works without having to set it all up on your own
  • Generative AI via /welcome page - you can now describe what you want, upload a picture and we'll generate a design for you. Then put the finishing touches on it in Designer.
  • Sign-up & Sign-in experience overhaul - now you can see what's new when you sign in and we show you what you're getting when you sign up for an account
  • Activity Logs - now it's easy to see what's happening on the platform, allowing you to run more precise experiments and keep track of changes
  • Bulk Operation - you can multi-select and bulk delete items
  • Layouts - Widgets can now be made larger or smaller (S M L) selector is available
  • Various Bug Fixes

Player Updates in v121

  • Improved connectivity logic for those that have screens showing activation codes after already being activated, or a Disconnected message. This can happen when the connection between Player and our cloud services is weak.

Manager Updates

  • Layouts with widgets: create multimedia dashboards with helpful widgets like temperature, marquee text, and more. You must have version 119 or higher to use layouts.
  • Offline Screen Notifications: Create notification policies and send alerts to SMS or email.
  • Video Improvements: Now with HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) that allows for adaptive streaming based on your internet speed. Videos should be more smooth.
